Burt Bacharach advisedly goes straight to the sports page during a mid-'60s visit to London. Together with lyricist Hal David he wrote Walk On By, I Say A Little Prayer and Anyone Who Had A Heart. In May '65 he found himself with his only solo hit, Trains And Boats And Planes.
